102mm Altair Louvre Clip Design
Breezway would like to announce a small design change to the 102mm Altair Louvre clip.
This product will be moving to the same MK2 design as the 152mm Altair Louvre clip, with an overall reduction in length of 6.5mm offering better clearance for screening scenarios and internal protrusion.
The recycling plastic identification code has also been moulded into the new clip to facilitate easier recycling.
There is no change to product performance or standard gallery heights. The 102mm Stronghold System and 102mm 14mm Timber clips will be unaffected.
The date of the change to the new 102mm Altair Louvre clips for 6mm blades will be communicated in due course.
Please note: No Breezway orders will use mixed clip designs, so there will be no chance of visible difference on the same order. If you have any ongoing projects using 102mm Altair Louvre clips, please discuss this with your relevant Breezway Area Manager to ensure all clips remain the same.
14mm Altair Louvre Clips and Timber Blades
Having seen very low usage for a number of years, we would like to advise you that Breezway will be discontinuing Timber blades, and subsequently 14mm Altair Louvre clips from our product offer from 1st July 2024.
Following this date, this product will be available through the Out of Product Offer (OOPO) process until stock is exhausted.
If you have any ongoing projects that require Timber blades, please speak with your local Breezway Representative. For shading or privacy scenarios, Aluminium blades, Aluminium Timber-look blades, and Obscure Glass blades are ideal solutions.

We would like to take this opportunity to remind all customers of our quote and order forms that are available to help guide you through the customising options Breezway offers to ensure all relevant details for your order are captured.
In particular our Daylight Opening Form for Altair Louvre Componentry. This form allows customers to provide the details to suit a specific opening while ensuring all parts and customisation options are accounted for, with built-in cell logic that help block incompatible features dependant on your selections.
For example, when selecting the Powerlouvre System as an operation type this will ensure you are only able to select security U-channel as a security bar option, rather than the Powerlouvre incompatible security jamb.
